The S2-BaseFoil mat is designed to be installed on the inner door frame, covering the largest openings while simultaneously reinforcing the door panel.

200-micron (0.2 mm) aluminum foil with high-strength acrylic adhesive layer. Primarily used as the first sealing layer over openings in vehicle doors, prior to applying an Alu-butyl damping mat. Provides high structural rigidity without additional reinforcements (e.g., metal bars), enhancing vibration damping and improving midbass speaker performance by stabilizing the door panel. Also suitable as a secondary reinforcement layer over Alu-butyl mats on large body surfaces such as the roof or floor.
